Red Fort shoot-out
accused creates

ruckus in court

NEW DELHI, March 20. -
The prime suspect in the Red
Fo[t shoot·out case today cre-
ated ruckus during proceedings
in the court of the additional
sessions judge, Mr M S Sabhar-
wal at the Tis Hazari courts and
said that he wouid not get jus-
tice from the court. The suspect,
Arif alias Ashfaq had filed an
application on 6 March de-
manding removal of shackles
and fisticuffs. At present, Arif is
lodged in Tihar jail.
The incident took place as
soon as the court proceedings
began. Arif shouted demanding
removal of his chains and added
that he was not being given jus-
uce oniy because he was a Pakis-
tani. He added that there were
other suspects in the Parliament
attack case and thcv were not
treated as harshly as· he and his
wife. Arif's wife Rchmana Yusuf
Farooqui is a co-accused in lhc
case.
